online reservation, how do I receive the confirmation ?
The hotel online reservation system will generate
an email confirmation which will be sent directly to your
own personal email account (that’s why we ask you to
input your email address twice so that we are sure you will
receive the confirmation!) You would be advised to print this
email and keep it for verification purposes when you check
into the hotel.

Yes, the Hiberia Hotel in Rome is a superior three
star hotel and consequently all rooms contain a private marble
bathroom with complimentary accessories plus hairdryer etc.
Are there any difference
in the standard of Rooms ?
We have 35 guest rooms which are divided into doubles,
twins, triples, quadruples and singles. All rooms contain
air conditioning, internet port, private bathroom, satellite
tv, mini bar etc.
Do the guestrooms
have air conditioning and central heating?
Yes, all of our hotel guestrooms contain both air
conditioning and central heating – our hotel is a superior
first class four star property.
Do you have romantic
guestrooms ?
Yes, the hotel Hiberia has quiet and romantic rooms
and suites.
Do the rooms/apartments
have a terrace/courtyard?
No sorry we don’t have a hotel terrace.
Do you have non smoking
rooms?
Yes, we have non smoking rooms in compliance with
Italian legislation passed in 2005 when smoking was banned
in all public places including hotel restaurants, bars and
hotel lobbies.
Is there a TV in the
rooms? Are there international satellite channels?
Yes. All of the Hotel Guestrooms are equipped with
satellite television - BBC world service and CNN.
Is there a telephone
with direct dialling in the rooms ?
Of course we are a three star hotel in Rome although
if we are honest we would have to say that most people use
their mobile phones…

How do I get to your hotel from the train station?
The Hiberia Hotel is located at the end of Via Nazionale
which is one of the major roads in Rome leading from the Station
Termini to the heart of the historical centre of Rome –
consequently just jump on the bus number 64 from the station
and you will be here in less than 10 minutes… NB the
64 bus passes every 8 minutes.
How do I get to Rome
from the International Airport?
Take the airport terminal train to Termini and from
there either take a bus number 64 or a taxi (10 Euro). NB
if getting the bus remember to buy a ticket before getting
on and stamp it in the machine provided.
Journey time from
airport Leonardo da Vinci to Rome Hotel Hiberia
Both train and coach take approximately just over
45 minutes.
From Airport Ciampino?
Only cheap low cost airlines arrive here take the
Cotral bus to Anagnina then the metro to Termini. Or take
the Terravision shuttle bus to Termini and then the bus number
64 to the hotel.
Termini Railway Station
A taxi will cost approximately 10-15 Euro but depends
on traffic and how many bags you have (bags over 80 cm long
cost 1 euro per bag) If you don’t want to take a taxi
you can either walk or take Bus 64 – check with Driver
when to get off for the Hotel Hiberia.
Is there an Hotel
transfer service to/from the airports?
Yes, we can arrange a Pick-up upon request. Costs
vary depending on which airport you are arriving. Please see

Where does the name "Hiberia"
come from ?
The name Hiberia is the latin name for the Spanish
penisula, a variant on the Greek "Iberus" or Roman
"Iberia". It shouldn't be confused with another
similarly pronounced country "Hibernia" (many people
think the Hiberia is called the Hotel Hibernia !) as Hibernia
is infact Ireland and is derived from the latin word 'hibernus'
or 'winter' , as in to hibernate... the Romans found Ireland
quite cold! Not so here at our hotel where we guarantee you
a warm Roman welcome to all of our guests, especially those
from Ireland!

The Hotel Hiberia is open all year round.

I would like my room located (preferred floor, etc)?
The hotel staff will do their best to accommodate
your preferences however bear in mind that none of our rooms
have balcony only there are only really panoramic views of
Rome from the fourth floor in the superior guestrooms at the
Hotel Hiberia.

with your own laptop personal computer. In addition there
is a public 24 hour internet point in the hotel bar for exclusive
use by residents and guests of the Hotel Hiberia

Sorry we do not allow pets of any description in
the hotel.
Is there a restaurant
in the Hotel?
Yes, our hotel has an excellent restaurant and our
hotel concierge will be happy to provide both lunch and dinner
reservations plus some tips on local Roman dishes. The restaurant
also boasts a rather extensive wine list.
